Sybil Obuobi

Welcome!

I am a drug delivery/formulation scientist working in the field of antimicrobial therapeutics. My research is focused on the development of innovative drug delivery systems, in depth elucidation of their transport routes and efficacy in vivo. I explore a combination of approaches and technologies alongside novel techniques to decipher drug-pathogen and drug-cell interactions.

I graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed my postdoc at UIT The Arctic University of Norway. I am currently an independent researcher in the Drug Transport and Delivery Research Group. My research group works on the development of advanced scaffolds for antimicrobial drug delivery. My current role is exciting and has resulted in combining my previous skills in DNA nanotechnology and new techniques in lipid-based formulations to tackle the menace of drug resistance.
