I am a drug delivery/formulation scientist working in the field of antimicrobial therapeutics. My research is focused on the development of innovative drug delivery systems, in depth elucidation of their transport routes and efficacy in vivo. I explore a combination of approaches and technologies alongside novel techniques to decipher drug-pathogen and drug-cell interactions.
I graduated from the National University of Singapore and currently work as a postdoc fellow at UIT The Arctic University of Norway. I am an independent researcher in the Drug Transport and Delivery Research Group working to develop advanced scaffolds for antimicrobial drug delivery. My current role as a Marie Curie Fellow is exciting and has resulted in combining my previous skills in DNA nanotechnology and new techniques in lipid-based formulations to tackle the menace of drug resistance.
